1950-1974

This was a time of significant expansion of missionary work in Brazil. Missionaries experienced increasing success during these years. The number of missions increased to four missions with new mission headquarters in Curitiba and then Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro. New cities were opened throughout the country. Though relatively few in number, an increasing number of Brazilian missionaries were called to serve. Chapels were built and replaced rented halls. Local leadership developed and led in the Stakes that were created.
