Missionaries, young and old, leave their homes and families to respond to the call to serve throughout the world—including Brazil. For most, the length of service is 24 months. Missionaries are assigned to serve in companionships of two. After several months, they are transferred from one city to another and become familiar with various places in the mission. They can be seen walking on the streets of the cities where they serve, greeting and talking to hundreds of people. These acquaintances often result in lifelong friendships. Herein are images and memories of the people, places and experiences in the land of Brazil.
